Who should avoid our tours

What people say about us?

I did this tour the first day of my visit to Lisbon and I’m glad I did. It was a great way to orient to the city while seeing some major sites and learning a bit about history and culture. I loved the contrasts in the “City of Senses – Three Faces of Lisbon” tour. We covered the city center, rode along the river, and through Monsato park (where we saw cork trees, my favorite part!).  The guide was  phenomenal, so friendly and personable. He even took some great pictures of me during our tour, an added bonus! It felt like an insiders tour, not a typical tourist tour. We picked up some delicious food along the way for a picnic in Monsanto park with an amazing view of the city. I’m a daily bike commuter and didn’t think I really needed the e-bike, but it was super fun to ride.

I can’t recommend Cycling Lisbon highly enough, I had such a great experience, I plan to do the full-day Arrábida tour the next time I’m in Lisbon!.

Cycling Lisbon is a top-notch company with a wonderful team of friendly and accommodating guides. It was my first trip to Portugal, and I really enjoyed learning about Lisbon and seeing the city’s highlights with Goncalo and Vitor. They provided a fun and informative introduction to a beautiful city.

We were clients number 31-36 of Gonçalo tour. It was a new set up, but couldn’t have asked for someone more friendly and informative.
Started off with a safety brief and an introduction to the tour. A family run service with his wife and daughter helping with the bikes and helmets.
This was a gentle, entertaining informative and thoroughly enjoyable 4 hours through Lisbon.
The bikes were of high quality and we stopped off at various interesting places and our guide provided with water, cherry liquor and a taste of Lisbon’s famous pastry.
Would recommend his tour to anyone and can’t praise his experience and professionalism.

3 of us just completed an amazing ebike tour of Lisbon with Tiago from Cycling Lisbon. From beginning to end this tour company was totally professional with fast email communication and great directions. Ebikes are definitely the way to get around Lisbon – one of our group hadn’t ridden a bike in 25 years and he loved riding up the hills with the extra “e” boost! We covered a huge amount of the city and not only learnt about Lisbon history and landmarks but got to experience the culture and food with stops for pasties de Nata (Portuguese custards tarts), shots of ginjinha and traditional lunch of corn bread, cheese and ham (all included in price of the tour – a nice touch indeed). Highly recommend this small group tour company over the other large groups we came across – worth every euro!!

My wife and I were looking to do some e-biking around Sintra and booked a half day with Cycling Lisbon. It was a really great day out, we both had a lot of fun. Gonçalo was an excellent guide, very knowledgable about the area, the flora and fauna of the region. I hope to visit Sintra again and for sure I’ll look up Gonçalo and go for a spin!
